Uni-Assist Member University

WHAT IS UNI-ASSIST?

uni-assist is a registered association, may join the all universities nationally recognized in Germany.The core task of uni-assist is evaluating international certificates. uni-assist checks whether the submitted certificates are equivalent to German school or university degrees and generally entitle the holder to study in Germany. In addition, the universities uni-assist can designate, to consider the other criteria. A positive test result uni-assist forwards your application in electronic form to the university on; alternatively provides uni-assist also the so-called VPD process, then provides uni-assist the applicant a certificate (a preliminary documentation / VPD) from, with which he can apply directly at the college. In any event, the institutions themselves decide on the admission.

As uni-assist does not receive any state funding, the preliminary examination is chargeable. As a rule, the applicants to bear the costs incurred for the review of their educational prerequisites. The universities have the opportunity to take over the handling costs themselves, some universities - make use - especially in the field of master applications.
